Former players reunite at Meadow Lane

A host of former Notts County players reunited at Meadow Lane this afternoon to celebrate the launch of new book One Flew Over the Magpies Nest. The likes of Lee Hughes, Tommy Johnson, Alan Birchenall, Brian Stubbs, Les Bradd and Mark Draper were in attendance, along with author Paul Mace. The 650-page book (hardback, £20) charts behind-the-scenes stories and tales from former players, managers, chairmen and fans over the past 50 years of the club. Funeral Arrangements for Jackie Sewell

The funeral arrangements for Jackie Sewell have now been made and will take place on Thursday 20th October at 3.20pm at Wilford Hill Crematorium, this will be followed by a Wake at Ruddington Golf Club for which ex players and fans are welcome to attend.
