Happy Birthday Alan Paris

Alan joined Notts from Watford after failing to make a senior appearance for them in April 1991, he made 15 league appearances during that season scoring against Watford making the start of seven straight wins that took Notts to the Division Two Play Offs against Brighton. Notts beat Brighton to secure promotion for the second successive season sadly they only lasted one season in Division One and Alan's career was cruelly curtailed by a knee injury. Despite a two year fight to regain full fitness he was forced to announce his retirement in the summer of 1994.
