There’s a bright fresh look for 2016 to the Former Players’ annual golf day.
For the first time since its inception it’s being moved from a midweek date to Sunday 11 September when it will be played at one of Nottinghamshire’s favourite courses, Ruddington Grange.
Cost of entry has been reduced to £30 and former players may bring a guest player along.
Steve Cherry has taken over the running of the day and says he hopes that these changes will enable many more former players to participate.
It all follows last year’s unexpected disappointment when, for the first time, the event had to be cancelled through lack of support.
